I am very excited about this week for a few reasons: friends coming into town, a week of moving (not too happy about that one), my new nail polish (it’s the little things) and the Water at Work Challenge!
Water is so important and sometimes (especially for me) difficult to drink because of all the other interesting combinations out there from coffee to…wine 🙂
Remember that water is important because it makes up almost 60 percent of your body weight and is dependent on you to ensure that your bodily systems are running smoothly. The Mayo Clinic explained, “Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don’t have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. Even mild dehydration can drain your energy and make you tired.”
I saw this unique idea on pinterest and thought it was such a creative idea. I asked a few friends at work to participate and this week we’re drinking our 64 ounces with these water bottles I created for them.
It’s very easy and costs almost nothing. I went to Walmart in the kitchen aisle and found a $4 32 ounce water bottle, grabbed the silver pen from the craft section ($0.92) and it took me less than thirty minutes to make. Super easy and we’re ready for a great week of getting our 64 ounces a day in! (Of course more is always great!)
Join us this week and share your techniques to make sure you keep hydrated!
