Just a Normal Day, #fitfulential, Dating, Dinner and a Thumbs Up

Tuesday was an interesting day for me. This post is a bunch of random things. Enjoy 🙂

3 Mile run in Noda includes getting scared to death nowadays. Apparently our neighbor’s get really into Halloween. Well this is something to get used to 🙂

I woke up and went straight to the doctor’s for my check up on my thumb. Thumbs up! After 6 months and two surgeries…I’m officially cleared!

I learned I’m a new Fitfluential Ambassador!

FitFluential is a nationwide network of highly influential fitness enthusiasts sharing their journey both online and offline through multiple social media platforms. FitFluential is the perfect combination of fitness and influence.

I’m so excited and honored to be a part of such a great and entrepreneurial company too! It’s going to be so much fun! (And More to come!)

I do not have a creative “chef” mind but I am pretty proud of myself. Remember my Zucchini Lasagna? Well I was making it for my roommates this week and realized I forgot one of the key ingredients- spinach. Bummer.

Well…I took all the ingredients for the exception of spinach and created a combo. A bit watery because I did not have time to blot out the water from the zucchini but it was delicious (and my roommate can agree to this too!)

1- Cut Zucchini and Mushrooms and add two layers

2- Create your “cheese paste”- Take 2 cups of ricotta cheese, 4 garlic cloves and a 1/2 cup of fresh basil minced and mix together

3- Add the cheese paste and a layer of tomato sauce. I highly recommend Trader Joe’s Traditional Marinara!

4- Cover with reynolds wrap and then bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees

Oh…and a new find from yesterday, quite an interesting find. I found this organization through their blogging techniques called “How About We.”

Now, you all know me. Ball of Fury, La Furiousa, woman on the go…well, a friend of mine suggested this website with this link. Although comedic, (My dating life is..to say the least entertaining) I actually found this information valuable. (Don’t judge) I’ve realized people who think something is valuable means someone else will to, so I’m sharing for those single ladies (who put their hands up!)

6 reasons not to give up on Dating

  1. Dating can be interesting.
  2. First date jitters are are actually exciting.
  3. Kissing is fun (No comments from the peanut gallery called my friends please.)
  4. Go see number four yourself.
  5. Post-Date dissecting- yea…I’m a pro at this.
  6.  Practice makes perfect (This is the number one reason for me)

Pretty interesting…very helpful. Click here to read the full article.

Happy Wednesday everyone!
