It’s been about a week with no blogging and I knew I felt a little odd. I never realized how much I really enjoy it. When my friends Bri and Amanda brought me into this through their own blogs I really enjoyed the goal sharing. Long story short, I’ve missed blogging this week!
So- what I’ve been up to:
Went back to Yoga!
Amanda and Deandra would be proud! I tried out a new place in Austin called Wanderlust. Now, I have realized that Austin is an unbelievable fitness hub. Picking a yoga studio is almost impossible in my opinion. When I started yoga in Charlotte, Amanda and D already had a place picked out which I loved. So this was some pressure.
Simply googling yoga brings up 20 studios so then I went by time and class.
Wanderlust is a studio that brings music and yoga together. Very cool and definitely my style. (I’m not a fan of silent yoga or hot yoga) I went to a Basics class and got my butt kicked..literally. It’s crazy how your practice can be completely gone after a few months! I’m definitely looking forward to getting back on the band wagon.
Closing on a House
Yep, that’s right! I am very excited to say that. I can’t believe it’s happening, but they say that all things happen for a reason. With this opportunity, I have learned ALOT. I can’t wait to share all of these tips and tricks and hopefully share some new pictures of my new place (I don’t want to post here until it’s official!).
Training has been good and I’m getting so excited about the Nike Women’s Half coming up. I went to the ATX Livestrong Marathon to cheer on a few friends and got even more motivated so training has stepped up. I tried out a new mobile app from Nike and it’s unbelievable. Called the Nike Training Club, it has different workouts for cardio, strength and focus areas. Each are very instructional and perfect for a workout at home. More to come this week on this app.
